The Field Services Division is dedicated to preserving the integrity and safety of Orange’s community spaces. Our team expertly manages:

Holiday Trash & Street Sweeping Schedule

CR&R Environmental Services does not collect trash, recyclables, or organics on the following holidays:

 

  • New Year’s Day (January 1)
  • Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
  • Independence Day (July 4)
  • Labor Day (First Monday in September)
  • Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday in November)
  • Christmas Day (December 25)

 

If a holiday falls on a weekday (Monday–Friday), collection is delayed one day for the remainder of the week.

If this results in trash collection and street sweeping occurring on the same day, place carts on top of the curb or parkway, not in the street.
