The City of Orange and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 47 have reached a tentative settlement to end the strike that began on Sunday, March 1, 2026. On March 18, 2026, regular meter reading services resumed. Only bills generated during the period March 3, 2026, through March 17, 2026  have been estimated due to the temporary disruption.
