Utility Box Art Program
The Utility Box Art Program brings color and creativity to Orange by transforming city-owned traffic signal control boxes into vibrant public art. These highly visible installations reach a constantly moving audience, adding artistic expression to everyday streetscapes.
The City is seeking local participants to submit designs that reflect the spirit and identity of the City of Orange as it commemorates the 250th birthday of the USA, celebrating its culture, history, and community values.
Artists are encouraged to demonstrate creativity and a strong sense of place that inspires civic pride and cultural connection.
