The City of Orange is proud to join communities across Orange County in celebrating the United States Semiquincentennial — the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding.

On July 3, the City will host the Semiquincentennial Celebration in the Park, bringing families, neighbors, and visitors together for an evening of live music, entertainment, family activities, and a special ceremony commemorating this historic milestone.

Across Orange County, this anniversary is being recognized through a variety of independently produced programs, tributes, and educational initiatives that honor our shared history while looking ahead to the future.

As July 4, 2026 approaches, Orange County’s Semiquincentennial effort invites residents to join activities that explore the principles behind our democracy, celebrate our diverse heritage, and engage in meaningful civic life.
