The Traffic Division of the Public Works Department is responsible for the The safe and efficient movement of traffic within the city. Additionally, Traffic Engineering designs, constructs and maintains the traffic signal and the streetlight systems, all roadway striping and street signs and markers.

As a member of the SRC team, Traffic Engineering is responsible for providing guidance on, and reviewing, traffic analysis prepared for new development.

Traffic Engineering staff will be responsible for calculating any Transportation System Improvement Program (TSIP) fees that are required for a proposed project.
