The Landscape Services section of the Community Services Department reviews and approves all commercial and residential landscape plans submitted to the City as part of the development plan. The review is to ensure that plant selection and the design approach results in a viable, attractive landscape.

The review also ensures that projects meet standards established under the Water Efficient Landscapes section of the City's Landscape Standards and Specifications. Any new landscape construction over 500 square feet in size that comes before the City for permits, plan check, or design review is subject to this requirement.
