The City of Orange has streamlined the design review process for new development and property improvements outside of historic districts and not involving historic properties. 

Eligible projects will now be reviewed administratively by Planning staff, rather than going before the Design Review Committee at a public meeting. 

The  goal of this streamlining is to encourage  property improvements and new development.
