    Drop by the Children’s Library at the Orange Public Library & History Center between Monday, February 22, and Friday, March 5, and pick up a Take & Make craft kit containing supplies for two Dr. Seuss-inspired crafts! Video tutorials will be available for you to follow along. Ages 5-12 while supplies last. Child must be present to receive kit.

  2. Boost Your Reading Confidence and Literacy Skills (online)

    In this virtual workshop, fluent and early fluent readers ages eight through twelve will have a blast with creative activities aimed to strengthen their reading skills. Students will use Immersive Reader in the OneNote app, which is currently available for Windows 10, Mac, and iPad. Workshop leaders will be ready to help with the app download and sign-in process if needed.

    By the end of the workshop, students will have:

    -Read and collaborated on story building with the Immersive Reader in the OneNote app.
    -Explored tools that help improve focus while reading, identified parts of speech, and read text out loud.
    -Tackled reading on their own with the help of OneNote’s Immersive Reader.
