The Adult Literacy Program is looking for volunteer tutors who want to make a difference in another’s life and want to share their love of reading and books. This is a one-on-one tutoring program focusing on the needs of individual adults working to improve their reading and writing skills. Monday, April 15th is New Tutor Orientation Night and the first of four mandatory trainings; the other dates are Wednesday, April 17th, Monday, April 22nd and Wednesday, April 24th from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. each night at the Orange Public Library & History Center. The library is looking for teens with leadership, organizational, and creative skills. TAG members must be reliable and available to attend monthly meetings held on Wednesdays. TAG membership qualifies as community service and would benefit any college or job application. Meet at the Children's Reference Desk. (Grades 7-12)
