City of Orange salutes America at the 26th Annual “3rd of July” Celebration
In anticipation of the State of California moving beyond the “Blueprint for a Safer Economy” and reopening on June 15, the City of Orange proudly announces that the annual 3rd of July Celebration will be held in-person this year. We’re going to celebrate America’s birthday in true Orange fashion, by getting the party started on Saturday, July 3.
We invite everyone to come out to Grijalva Park, on Saturday July 3, 2021, to see why the City of Orange 3rd of July Celebration has been a beloved family event for well over two decades.
The gates open at 4 p.m., and the event begins with inflatable slides, games, and fun children’s activities. If you’ve brought your appetite, our local non-profits will be hosting an array of food trucks with tasty treats for purchase. As the sun begins to set at 8 p.m., grab a spot on the lawn to enjoy an uplifting musical performance by the Orange Community Master Chorale and the grand finale patriotic fireworks salute to America.
Grijalva Park is located at 368 North Prospect Street, Orange, CA 92869.
For information on parking locations for attendees, and a map of temporary street closures during the event, visit www.cityoforange.org/2183/Special-Events or call our Special Events Hotline at (714) 744 -7278.
The following items are prohibited at Grijalva Park during the event: alcohol, pets, barbeques or other outdoor cookware, and drones or other propelled objects. Smoking and vaping are allowed only in designated areas of the park.
Admission tickets for the event are $7, and children two years old and under are free. Tickets are on sale at the Community Services Department front counter, 230 East Chapman Ave., through 5:30 p.m. Friday, July 2. If available, tickets may also be purchased at the event site after 3:30 p.m. the day of the event.
