The City has several commissions and committees that are comprised of citizen volunteers appointed by the Orange City Council. We currently have several vacancies on the City's Investment Advisory Committee, and are looking for volunteers who either live or work in Orange to fill these seats. The Investment Advisory Committee is charged with independently reviewing the City's investments, and meets at least once each quarter, or on an as-needed basis.
Applicants should have significant education and experience in at least one facet of investment, brokerage, banking, or other similar areas.

Opportunity to serve on the Investment Advisory Committee
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that vacancies exist for the Investment Advisory Committee.
The primary purpose of the committee is to independently review the City’s investments to determine their consistency with the City’s investment policy’s principal objectives of safety first, liquidity second, and total rate of return third.
The applicant must have substantial education and demonstrated managerial experience (of not less than five years) in one or more of the following areas: Investment Banking, Investment Brokerage and Sales, Investment Management, Financial Management and Planning or Commercial Banking.
Meetings are held at least once each quarter or on an as-needed basis.
