Notice of Vacancy: CDBG Committee

City of Orange Official Information

NOTICE OF VACANCY Community Development Block Grant Committee. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to California Government Code §54974, that an unscheduled vacancy exists for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Committee. One seat is vacant and the term of office is for two years.

The CDBG Committee oversees the federally funded Community Development Block Grant Program and affordable housing programs.

Committee members must reside in the City of Orange. In addition, members should show an interest in and have knowledge of housing and community development issues, especially as they relate to affordable housing and public services for low and moderate income Orange residents.

This Committee meets as necessary. During the CDBG cycle, meetings are held on a monthly basis for approximately three to four months (typically December-March).

Applications may be obtained and electronically submitted from the Boards, Commissions, & Committees page on the City of Orange website; or by contacting the Office of the City Clerk at (714) 744-5500.
