The City Council of the City of Orange is seeking interested applicants to fill a vacancy as a member of the Orange Public Library Board of Trustees.
The applicant must have an understanding and appreciation of the role of the public library in the community and in a democracy. Trustees should be Orange residents and library users and should value books and information delivery. The general duties of the position are to represent the community’s thoughts on library service in order that library goals and objectives are reflective of community needs.
The term of office is for three years per the Education Code and the meetings are held monthly.
