For nearly 25 years, the City of Orange 3rd of July Celebration has delighted generations with good food, great music, and amazing fireworks.
Last year, the Orange Unified School District began a major renovation project at El Modena High School Fred Kelly Stadium, which has been the home of our 3rd of July Celebration since the beginning. While we anxiously await the stadium renovations, we will still be celebrating our Independence Day the Orange way, just at a temporary location. All of the fun, music, and fireworks will still be happening over at Grijalva Park- 368 N. Prospect St. – which is just a short distance from El Modena High school.
We will still have our local non-profits setting-up their food booths, a grand patriotic musical extravaganza, and our amazing fireworks finale. Please join us this year on Wednesday, July 3, at Grijalva Park for what is sure to be a great family event for everyone.
Tickets are now on sale for the July 3rd Celebration. They are $7 each, and children- 2 and under- are free. Get your tickets at the Community Services Department front counter, 230 E. Chapman Ave.- May 16 through July 3 until 5:30 p.m.- or at the event gate at Grijalva Park after 3:30 p.m. on July 3.
