Attendance at Public Meetings and submitting Public Comments during COVID-19

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, City Council and other Board, Commission, and Committee meetings are not open to physical attendance by members of the public. Additionally, all of the City Council, Board, Commission, and Committee members and staff will participate in the meetings via video conference and/or teleconference. Meetings will be available to the public on television on Spectrum Cable Channel 3 and AT&T U-verse Channel 99; and live and on-demand on the City of Orange website

Options for submitting public comments for City Council Meetings

Members of the public can submit their written comments for an upcoming agenda item electronically for City Council consideration by emailing them to with the subject line “Public Comment Item # (insert the item number relevant to the comment)” or “Public Comment Non-agenda Item” for general public comments. The public can also submit written comments on the City’s eComment page.  Or, the public can record their comments by calling (714) 744-2234.
