The Orange City Council approved the City's Fiscal Year 2020-21 budget on July 28, 2020. Due to the economic impacts of COVID-19, the General Fund budget consists of $107.5 million in total revenues and $115.8 million in expenditures. In addition to budget reductions, the City Council authorized the use of $8.5 million from reserves in order to balance the budget. City staff is busy preparing the Fiscal Year 2021-22 (FY 22) budget. The first study session took place on March 23, 2021. The next study session is scheduled to be held on April 27, 2021. The public hearing for budget adoption is tentatively scheduled for June 8, 2021.
