Orange Chamber of Commerce Career and Business Expo

During her 2013 State of the City address, Orange Mayor Theresa “Tita” Smith announced in that the City would be making a renewed commitment to being “Business-ready” in 2013.

As part of that goal, the City will be partnering with the Orange Chamber Commerce for their upcoming Career and Business Expo, which will be held May 23 at the Doubletree Hotel in Orange.

The Expo brings the business community together to encourage collaboration and new opportunities.  But this year there will also be a focus on job creation with a newly added Career Fair, which will offer job seekers an opportunity to connect with hiring Orange employers.  Applicants are encouraged to “Dress to Impress,” and make sure to bring multiple copies of their resumes.

“Many Orange residents find that searching for a job is one of the biggest challenges they face,” said Mayor Smith.  “By partnering with the Chamber of Commerce and our local businesses for this Career Expo, we hope to provide a helping hand to those looking for work.”

The Orange Chamber of Commerce Career and Business Expo will be held on Thursday, May 23 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel 100 The City Drive S, Orange, CA.
