Orange Depot Area

The proposed parking structure project is located in the Santa Fe Depot Area.  The Depot Area encompasses several blocks within walking distance of the Plaza and historic downtown commercial core.  It is a distinctive element of the larger, National Register listed, Old Towne Orange Historic District.  
 
The Depot Area has also been the subject of focused planning efforts including the 2008 Plaza-Depot Pedestrian Connection Study, the 2010 General Plan Update, and the Santa Fe Depot Specific Plan Update.
