Residential parking permits are available from the Traffic Bureau of the Orange Police Department. Police personnel will be issuing permits Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bring the following documents with you: - Current utility bill, or deed of trust. (A picture or image on a cell phone will not be accepted.) - If you are requesting a permanent sticker bring your current registration to the permitted address. $30.00 will be charged at the time of renewal. - Valid California driver's license or identification. - For Chapman University students only: Please provide your enrollment verification document or current utility bill.
To register as a new permit holder with the Citation Processing Center, upload the required documents; a government issued ID, current utility bill, or for Chapman University students, submit your enrollment verification letter, government issued ID, and utility bill.
You should receive an email within 24-48 hours verifying your permit was approved or denied. If approved, submit your payment and the permit will be mailed to you within seven days.

- Only for Visiting Non City Residents can get an R.V. permit for 7 consecutive days. - R.V. must park adjacent to the residence being visited. - 6 Permits are allowed to be issued per calendar year. - $27.00 for each permit - Please bring in your Registration and ID/License.
Make a copy of the citation, write a letter explaining why you are contesting the citation, include other supporting documents and mail it to: City of Orange, Citation Processing Center, P.O. Box 10479, Newport Beach, CA 92658-0479. In your letter, please include any documents that can support your dispute. You can also visit www.CitationProcessingCenter.com to submit a written appeal online.
Come to the Orange Police Department's Traffic Bureau counter, which is open 8:00 am to 5:00 pm from Monday to Thursday. You will need to provide the license plate number of the vehicle that was issued the citation and the date on which the citation was issued. The fee for the replacement citation is $6.00.
To pay for the violation, you can mail the citation with payment to "City of Orange, Citation Processing Center, P.O. Box 10479, Newport Beach, CA 92658-0479." The Citation Processing Center only accepts checks or money orders through the mail. You can also visit www.CitationProcessingCenter.com to pay for the violation with the use of a Credit card.
