The Well Permit is intended to protect our groundwater reserves from any contamination. It is required for all vertical drillings, deep or shallow.
In addition to water well drillings, well permits are required for soil sampling, soil contamination monitoring, and other non-water related drillings.
Please contact the City of Orange Water Division at (714) 288-2475 to apply for Well Permits.
An approved Well Permit is required before any Encroachment Permit, or other permit, can be issued for vertical drilling works.
