ORANGE POLICE EXPLORERS
The Orange Police Explorer Post #266 is comprised of young adults who are interested in participating in law enforcement programs and learning first-hand the fundamentals of the Criminal Justice System.
Established in 1963, the Orange Police Explorer Post #266 was the first municipal police department Explorer Post founded in the United States. Rich in tradition, the organization stays first by maintaining the ideals that ensure its longevity: tradition, integrity, and dedication to public service. Committed to the success of young people, Bill Schoepert, the original founder and representative for the Boy Scouts of America, is still on the advisory staff. Providing first-rate instruction remains a priority today and explorers participate in mentoring programs, civic function duties, computer technology, simulator training and field experience.
