Orange Police Color Guard

The Orange Police Color Guard was formed in 1970. The team consisted of five uniformed officers. They represented the City of Orange at many civic events throughout the year.

Since its inception, the Color Guard has marched and competed in numerous parades and events all over Southern California and won many awards. Some of the events included: the Fullerton 4th of July Parade, Buena Park Pioneer Day Parade, Indio Date Festival, Santa Ana Christmas Parade, and the City of Orange May Festival and Parade. The Color Guard has also appeared at several LA Dodgers and Anaheim Angels baseball games and various sporting events at The Pond in Anaheim.

Today, the Color Guard has ten members and includes a Sergeant and Lieutenant. Officers are specially selected to become Color Guard members and practice on a regular basis. The Orange Police Department Color Guard is a dedicated team of officers who proudly represent the City of Orange and the United States of America.
