Risk Management

The Risk Management Division oversees the following City operations and programs. These programs include:


Risk Management and the City Attorney's office are involved in the claims process.


Oversee insured and self-insured aspects of:

  • Certificates of Insurance
  • Liability
  • Property
  • Workers' Compensation

Loss Control/Safety

Aid in the protection of City assets, to help prevent injuries and damage to the City, employees, and the general public. The loss control/safety programs consist of the following:

  • Employee's safety injury and illness prevention program
  • Hazard identification
  • Property loss control
  • Resources for all city departments
