Human Resources
Human Resources Department is comprised of two divisions: Human Resources & Risk Management.

The primary goal of the City of Orange is to provide the best service to its citizens. The key to successfully attaining that goal is the talent, honesty, and professionalism of our City employees. We in Human Resources are dedicated to responsible human resource management by: recruiting qualified individuals for a productive workplace; providing a safe work environment; maintaining equitable compensation systems; and committing to personal and professional development of the employees through meaningful training and recognition programs.

Claims

Risk Management and the City Attorney's office are involved in the claims process.

Insurance
Oversee insured and self-insured aspects of:
-Certificates of Insurance
-Liability
-Property
-Workers' Compensation

Loss Control/Safety
Aid in the protection of City assets, to help prevent injuries and damage to the City, employees, and the general public. The loss control/safety programs consist of the following:

Employee's safety injury and illness prevention program
-Hazard identification
-Property loss control
-Resources for all city departments
