News ImageLibraries Closed for Holiday Break
Orange Public Library & History Center will close at 2 pm on Saturday, December 24. The library will be closed between Sunday, December 25 and Monday, January 2. Regular hours resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

El Modena and Taft branch libraries will close at 6 pm on Friday, December 23. The branch libraries will be closed between Saturday, December 24 and Monday, January 2. Regular hours resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

News ImageLibrary Wins Literacy Grant!
The Orange Public Library has been awarded a $41,000 literacy grant. California Library Literacy Services (CLLS), a program of the California State Library, has generously provided support to our Library to expand and enhance its adult literacy program. The goal of this program is to improve the reading skills of adult, English speaking community members through the recruitment and training of literacy tutors. Funds will be used for staffing, technology, program materials, and marketing.

It's time again for the Orange Public Library Foundation's popular FREE speaker series for teens.

Each monthly program is held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Orange Public Library & History Center on Saturdays starting on September 10, 2016.

Learn from experts working in their fields. Enter to win a laptop each time you attend a STEAM hands-on workshop!
