After-School Recreation Programs


The City of Orange After-School Recreation Programs at El Camino Real, Grijalva, and Killefer Parks offer fun activities, crafts, sports, games, special events, a nutritional program, homework assistance and site special events to children in kindergarten to eighth grade.  A parent packet, including a liability form, drop-off and pick-up policy agreement, CDBG form, and discipline agreement must be completed in order to participate. Parent packets are available during program hours at the various park locations. Registration will be taken at each site location beginning Wednesday August 25, 2:30-6:00 p.m. on a first come, first received basis. Space is limited at all After-school Programs. Free Homework Tutoring Program:
The El Camino Real, Grijalva, and Killefer Park After-School Programs, in partnership with the Friendly Center, now offer free tutoring to participants! For additional information on the Friendly Center Program, call (714) 771-5300 or visit www.friendlycenter.org

Grijalva/Prospect (site closed during inclement weather)

Site Time: 2:30 p.m.–6 p.m

Killefer Park (site open during inclement weather)

Location: 615 North Lemon St., 92868

Site Time: 2:30 p.m.–6 p.m.

El Camino After-School Program (site open during inclement weather)

Location: 400 North Main St., 92868

Site Time: 2:30-6 p.m.
