Tustin Branch Rail Trail

Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) has approved the realignment of the Santiago Creek Bike Trail to be located between Tustin Street and Collins Avenue.

Once complete, this project will connect the regional bike trail between Villa Park Rd./Katella Ave. and Collins Ave./Prospect St. past Main Street in Santa Ana. The project will consist of a ten-foot wide asphalt path along the Santiago Creek from Tustin St. to Walnut Ave., one foot bridge south of Chapman Ave., one foot bridge south of Walnut Ave., and dual 10 foot wide asphalt and 10 foot wide unpaved trails along the City owned right-of-way (ROW) from Walnut to Collins Avenues. Once this project is complete users will be able to ride or walk from central Orange all the way to Main Place Mall and the Discovery Science Center on a completely grade separated and safe bikeway.
