Santiago Creek Trail

This project is one of the components of the Santiago Creek Conceptual Master Plan, and is also one of the major trails shown on the City and County Master Plans. Ultimately, it is hoped that the trail will extend the entire length of Santiago Creek through the City and will connect with regional trails on each end linking to the Santa Ana River trail and the wilderness areas east of the City. At this time, short segments of the trail are existing, but unconnected. The City has funding to study the alignment from the Orange/Santa Ana boundary to the Collins curve, and to construct the segment from the east end of Hart Park to Cambridge Street.
