The City of Orange offered a great program at Shaffer Park to keep participants active in a recreation environment. Participants enjoyed an awesome nine week summer program with a structured schedule of games, activities, crafts, songs, special events and excursions. They experienced a summer full of excitement making new friends and memories to last a lifetime!
Recreation Services Leaders provided opportunities for participants to be creative, achieve self-expression, gain self-confidence and build team skills through recreation activities and group games. Recreation Services Leaders are trained in basic first aid and CPR. Staff participant ratio is approximately one (1) Recreation Services Leader to ten (10) participants.
