The City of Orange has teamed up with Trifytt Sports to offer the “Just Plain Fun” Co-ed Youth Flag Football League
This non-competitive, recreational league offers youth the opportunity to learn the skills and techniques used in the game of football in a fun, safe, and positive environment. This co-ed youth flag football league is meant to be “just plain fun!”
Volunteer coaches needed! The number of teams is based on the number of volunteer coaches. Call the City of Orange at 714-744 or Trifytt Sports at (714) 237-0060 or send an email to info@trifyttsports.com to request a coaches packet or if you have questions regarding the program.
When: parent & Participant Orientation – Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. First game – Saturday, September 18, 2010.
Where: Orientation, games, and practices take place at Grijalva Park, fields 1 & 2, 368 N. Prospect Ave., Orange, 92869
Time: Practices will take place prior to each game. Times will vary each week between 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Games cancelled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances will not be rescheduled.
Cost: $75 per participant (fee includes t-shirt, 8-game schedule, and participation award).
Age: Division A 12 & 13 year olds
Division B 10 & 11 year olds
Division C 8 & 9 year olds
