The City of Orange Community Services Department, along with Orange CARES, sponsored two exceptional programs that make the holiday season extra special for disadvantaged children in the city of Orange. With the help of the Orange Unified School District, the Community Services Department identified worthy families to participate in the Thanksgiving Gift Basket program and Orange Cares Children’s Holiday Breakfast. Every contribution was greatly appreciated.

Thanksgiving Gift Basket Program

Holiday baskets were distributed in late November around town to special families in the City of Orange. Financial donations, turkeys and other traditional Thanksgiving staples were donated and were greatly appreciated.

Orange CARES For Children Holiday Breakfast

The City of Orange, along with Orange CARES, proudly brings holiday cheer to over 600 children and their families duing the holiday season. Children from the ages of 1-12 anticipate in this day full of happiness. Families join us for a holiday breakfast and gift giveaway. The Holiday Cheer Program helps everyone start off the holiday season with a warm and joyous feeling.
