Orange Senior Center


The City of Orange is proud to offer senior services at the Orange Senior Center, located at 170 South Olive Street, Orange, CA 92866. There are a variety of free and minimal cost services, workshops and classes offered to senior citizens. Please contact 714-538-9633 for more information.

There is no membership fee.

The Center is open for Senior Programming Monday Through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Daily hot lunches are offered for seniors 60 and over for a suggested donation of $2.50. Home meal delivery is also offered for frail elderly by the Meals on Wheels program.

Orange Senior Center is managed by Orange Elderly Services, Inc., a non-profit 501(c) community based organization governed by an 27 member Board of Directors who volunteer their time to benefit the senior community. A 12-member Participant Council provides support to activities and special events.

The Community Services Department also offers recreational classes for all ages at the Senior Center through the Our Orange Magazine.


Orange Senior Center
The Orange Senior Center is an ideal facility for parties, quiñceneras, and wedding receptions All Orange Senior Center facility permits must be made in person at Community Services Department located at 230 E. Chapman Avenue. To make a Senior Center reservation, a facility permit must be completed no later than two (2) months prior to event date. Reservations will be accepted as early as one (1) year prior to event date. The facility will accommodate approximately 225 people. The deposit fees are required to be paid in full when reserving the facility. All other fees must be paid in full no later than two (2) months prior to reservation date. Alcohol is prohibited at all youth orientated events and all reservations events with alcohol must pay for security. The permit holder must be present at the event and have the permit on hand at all times. Approval depends upon intended use, availability and the conditions deemed necessary by the Community Services Department.
