The Park Planning and Development Commission was formed in 2000 to implement the park planning, design and development policies in the Master Plan of Parks; solicit community input regarding acquisition, park and facility needs; review park conceptual designs prior to development; review existing parks for possible renovation and use; and encourage relationships with volunteer and non-profit organizations regarding parks, facilities and open space.
This Commission meets every 2nd Thursday of the month at 5:30 p. m. Commission meetings are held in Council Chambers, 300 East Chapman Avenue, Orange.
This Commission must comply with the Maddy Act.
