Summer Swimming Lessons

The City of Orange has partnered with Orange Regional Competitive Aquatics (ORCA), a member of the USA Swimming and Southern California Swimming, to provide year round swimming lessons at El Modena High School. Please note that aquatics program sessions, registration process, prices and class offerings at El Modena High School differ from Hart Park Pool's aquatics program.

Group and Private Lessons
El Modena High School Group Lessons are open for level 2 or higher swimmers, ages 3 and older, including adults. There is no age requirement for semi-private and private lessons.
Session Dates:
Sessions are two weeks and meet Monday – Friday for 25 minutes each.

Session 1:   Jun 17 – Jun 28

Session 2:   Jul 8 – Jul 19

Session 3: Jul 22 – Aug 2

Session 4:   Aug 5 – Aug 16

Recreational Swim Team

Program Dates: Jun 17-Aug 16

Swim team will not meet on July 3 & July 4

Ages: 5 and older

Time: 3:30-4:30 p.m. (Mon-Fri)

Cost: $160 (includes a T-shirt) $20 siblings discount

Price includes: ORCA membership, T-shirt and meet fees.
Participants must be able to swim two lengths (50 yards) of the pool freestyle while side breathing without stopping or assistance.
Recreational Water Polo

*Program Dates: Jun 17-Aug 16

Water Polo class will not take place on July 3 or July 4

Ages: 8 and older

Time: 2:00-3:00 (Mon-Fri)

Cost: $160 (includes T-shirt) $20 siblings discount

Start date depends on meeting the minimum registration requirements. Time subject to change, please check ORCA’s Web site at www.orca-aquatics.com

Swim Team/Water Polo Combination Package:
Cost: Both sports for $250    Time: 2:00-4:30 p.m.
