The “E-Permit” web site is designed to provide the public with access to the City’s permit and project information database. E-Permit consists of the most current information provided by applicants to the City at the time a project or permit is applied for and may not reflect changes since the submittal time. Accessing the following information requires the Permit Number, Assessor’s Parcel number, or Job address of a project.
“PERMIT SEARCH” – Provides the history and specifics on a permit. Includes address, contacts, fees, contractor, APN and inspection information.
“PROJECT SEARCH” – Provides the planning history, contacts and fees on a site and see specific details on Design Review Committee, Conditional Use Permits, and Minor/Major Site Plan submittals.
“CONTRACTORS”– Provides a list of contractors who are either currently working or have worked in the City of Orange. Contractor search will provide name, address, business license, license types, insurance and contact information for the contractor.
“PARCEL SEARCH” – Provides information associated with a parcel of land in the City such as address, owner, land use, building type and legal description.
“ON-LINE PERMITS”– This function is not activated yet. In the future, applicants will be able to apply for certain permit types, pay fees and pull permits. This application is currently being developed.
“INSPECTION REQUEST” – Provides contractors with the ability to request inspections online. A special Pin number is needed to use this feature and will be assigned, upon request, at the time of permit issuance or by calling the Building Department.
“CONTACT US”– Ask Building and Planning questions about permits and projects. Response time is typically within 48 hours (working days).
