|Orange, CA – The City of Orange proudly unveils its newest park, Steve Ambriz Memorial Park, on Saturday, April 28, 2012. The entire Orange community is invited to a Grand Opening Celebration, which will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the park, located at 611 Riverbend Parkway. |
Festivities include children's activities, recreation class demonstrations, a commemorative gift (while supplies last,) light refreshments, and a dedication ceremony at noon. In the event of rain, the dedication ceremony will be moved inside the Ambriz Park Community Room at noon.
This event is free, and open to the public. For more information, please visit www.cityoforange.org, or call the City of Orange Special Event Hotline at (714) 744-7278.
Steve Ambriz Memorial Park will join the 15 parks that currently make up Orange’s public parks system, including the recently renovated El Camino Real Park and Grijalva Park, home to the newly opened, state-of-the-art Sports Center at Grijalva Park. Great public parks are just another reason why Orange is a great place to live, work, and shop.
