    Presented by Bob Menn of the Tessmann Planetarium at Santa Ana College Depending on cloud cover in Southern California we may be able to experience a partial eclipse of the sun on Monday, August 21. Come learn about what an eclipse is, where it may be visible, and ways you can view it safely in order to protect your eyes. Program is for all ages

  3. Partial Eclipse Viewing Party (Main)

    August 21, 2017, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Library - Main - Community Room

    Come to the library to take part in a casual partial eclipse viewing party. Safe Viewing glasses will be available on a first-come first-serve basis as supplies last. The peak of the eclipse will take place at about 10:21 a.m. when the moon will cover about 62% of the sun. The Community Room will simultaneously be showing a live stream of the eclipse as it happens in the event of poor visibility. Program is for All Ages
