Thanks to the efforts of Eichler residents, the three Eichler Tracts in Orange (Fairhaven, Fairhills, and Fairmeadow) have been identified as potential historic districts. In response to residents' enthusiasm for their homes, we are working on local historic district designation and design standards for these unique neighborhoods.

Orange Eichler Design Standards - Public Review Draft

We are very pleased to let you know that we have a draft of the Orange Eichler Design Standards to share. This draft is based on the input we heard from you and your neighbors at two Community Workshops this spring. We are looking forward to hearing what you think.

Click here to open a pdf of the draft Orange Eichler Design Standards. For your questions or comments, please contact Marissa Moshier, Historic Preservation Planner at (714) 744-7243 or mmoshier@cityoforange.org. Based on the feedback we receive, the Design Standards and local historic district designation will be considered for adoption by City Council this fall.

Thank you to all the Eichler residents for your engagement in this effort.
