All programs will be held in the Orange Public Library & History Center Community Room with the exception of the July 14 El Modena and  the July 20 Taft Branch Library programs listed at the bottom of the page.

Create. Compete. Mondays!


Teen volunteers present craft and game programs for 1st - 6th graders.
Mondays from 2 pm - 3 pm

June 26 - Attack the Fort - Create your own catapult, and then build a fort and have a battle with others.

July 3 - Marshmallow Engineering - Build a bridge with just toothpicks and marshmallows, test its strength, and then compete in a marshmallow tossing contest.

July 10 - Code It - Learn a little about binary code, create a coding necklace with beads representing letters, then play a coding game.

July 17 - 3...2...1...Blast Off - Create your own rocket ship followed by a balloon rocket race.

July 24 - Ice Cream Carnival - Join us for face painting, carnival games, and fun! Make your own ice cream sundae.

Tuesday Performer Programs

Fun, free summer programs for all ages. Arrive early as seating is limited. Sponsored by the Orange Public Library Foundation.

June 20 - Give Me a Home Where the Animals Roam - Explore how Mother Nature has designed animals to fit certain roles in the animal kingdom and try you hand at animal design in this live animal presentation filled with surprises. Presented by Wonders of Wildlife.

June 27 - Bubblemania - Learn about the science and fun of bubbles! See different types of bubbles and watch someone go inside a giant bubble. Presented by Bubblemania and Company.

July 11 - One World Rhythm - Everyone will get a percussion instrument to make exciting rhythms together in this unique program presented by One World Rhythm.

July 18 - Do You Want to Build a Story? - Davy Dog is having trouble writing a story for school. He thinks so hard he drifts off into dreamland where he meets and confronts several characters from his favorite stories. Presented by Hey Hey Entertainment.

July 25 - Let's Get Building - Christopher T. Magician will take some of his favorite children's books about building and create a magical, side-splitting show that educates as much as it entertains.

Ruff Readers


A special 6-week program, presented by Independent Therapy Dogs, Inc., gives children the opportunity to read aloud to a certified therapy dog. Dogs are great listeners and will enjoy any story, read at any pace. For all ages.

Family Film Festival
