Councilmember Kim Nichols

Kim Nichols is a career oncology nurse and local businesswoman with deep roots in Orange. She was elected to her first term as a City of Orange Council Member in November of 2014.

Growing up in Orange, Kim attended grades 1st – 12th here in our local Orange schools. She and her husband, Steven, purchased a home in Orange, where they have raised their 3 children.

Kim is a believer in the fundamental basics of government- fiscal responsibility, local control, personal accountability, and community participation. She also has a long history holding elected and public service offices, which includes President/Board member of Orange Public Library Foundation (2002 – present), Trustee Area 5 Board Member of the Orange Unified School District Board of Education (2001- 2010) and various elected and appointed PTA positions (1993 – present).

Kim is a Register Nurse with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the California State University, Fullerton. Currently, she and her husband are co-owner’s of Cyrano’s Caffé.
